Available positions

Process Engineer – Engineering

balance of plant, design for manufacturing, cooling tower, scrubber, slurry reactor

Equatic is seeking experienced Chemical Process Engineers for key roles in its process development efforts. A successful candidate will bring experience from previous roles in industrial settings and have a passion for creative approaches to solving new design challenges. Specialized expertise in scrubber, cooling tower design and slurry reactor systems is a plus. Candidates will join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists developing carbon removal technologies that will be applied globally. Efforts will center on developing and commercializing a first-of-a-kind process and as such require candidates with mindsets compatible with charting a new course for the betterment of our environment. The Process Engineer will work closely with Equatic’s technical development team, in particular the CTO, VP of Manufacturing, and others in the engineering team to immediately develop and optimize overall plant design, including selecting appropriate scrubbing and cooling systems tailored to specific operational needs. The position requires a detailed understanding (or willingness to learn quickly) of different equipment types and the ability to complete engineering designs. Work will involve process flow design, design for manufacturing, materials selection, sizing, standardization, cost calculation and modeling. This role will ensure successful operation while adhering to safety and environmental standards and regulations.

Vice President Manufacturing & Supply Chain – Manufacturing & Supply Chain

Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain Strategy & Delivery

Equatic is seeking an experienced VP Manufacturing & Supply Chain to develop and manage the company’s near- and mid-term manufacturing and supply chain setup. This is a critical role to drive Equatic’s deployment of CDR and H2 plants. You will engage with Equatic’s R&D, Engineering and Project Development teams to (i) build and manage internal capabilities to manufacture key unit operations against performance, schedule, and cost, and (ii) build commercial and strategic relationships with existing and new suppliers. You will be self-motivated to define the manufacturing & supply chain vision and will play a critical role delivering a major solution to mitigate climate change. This position involves regular engagement with commercial, technical development, engineering and operations teams, and external partners. You must be ready to lead and deliver in an early-stage team environment.

Technical Project Engineer – Project Engineering

Next generation plants, project management, focus on pre-FID, FEED, modeling

The Technical Project Engineer (TPE) will work closely with Equatic’s leadership team, in particular the CTO and the Director Technical Projects, to engineer integrated plant designs, including FEED studies, and modeling of various equipment components, and systems for Equatic’s seawater mediated carbon removal process. The TPE will support the development and construction of next generation plants, including defining technical specifications, coordinating/steering external vendors, and conducting in-house FEED studies.

Electrolyzer Design Engineer – Tech Development, Engineering

Engineering, FEED, serialized manufacturing, scale curve

The Electrolyzer Design Engineer will work closely with Equatic’s technical development team, in particular the CTO and the VP Manufacturing & Supply Chain, to refine designs of Equatic’s electrolyzer and key elements of the balance of plant, with the objective to develop better products at lower cost. This will involve defining the manufacturing processes, FEED, materials selection, tolerances, standardization, cost calculation and modeling.
